Basketball Plays 1-4 High – 5 Cross
This play was contributed by Coach Creighton Burns

#1 brings the ball into the attack zone and #4 and #5 set a staggered double for #3.
#3 uses both screens to free himself on the opposite wing.
#2 slides down to the block to get a good screening angle.
Note: This is a great set for getting the ball into #5, and then flowing into your motion, continuity, or free lance offense.

On the pass from #1 to #3, #2 will set a cross screen for #5 and #5 will flash hard to the ball. #5 can go over or under the screen, depending on how the defender plays him.
#4 then screens for #2 in a screen the screener action.
#1 cuts to the back side wing after making the entry pass to #3.

If #5 is not open, #3 will move the ball to #2 at that point.
#2 may have a shot opportunity here. If not, he will complete the ball reversal by swinging the ball to #1.
On the pass from #2 to #1, #4 will cross screen for #5.
After making the pass, #2 will delay for a count and then down screen for #4, and cut to the ball side corner, or the back side short corner.
#1 looks into #5 adn then to #4 at the ball side high post.
